SCOTTS BLUFF TO OGALLALA

DISTANCE: 123 miles
TIME: 2 hours
One of the nicer scenic rides to be found in Nebraska is this Nebraska motorcycle road that starts in Scotts Bluff National Monument, an impressive geologic land feature that rises to 4,659 feet above sea level above the North Platte River. It's a great ride along the Summit Road that takes you to the top of the bluff through three tunnels for a spectacular view of the valley. Continuing along US-26, ride parallel to the river for some vast, open stretches.

DISTANCE: 272 miles
TIME: 4.5 hours
This scenic motorcycle road is one of the best in the entire state. Ride through this remote and beautiful countryside from Grand Island to Alliance. There's sprawling ranches, endless sky and miles upon miles of rolling grass dunes.
SIOUX CITY TO OMAHA

DISTANCE: 98 miles
TIME: 2 hours
For one of the more scenic and relaxing roads, take this motorcycle ride in Nebraska along the west side of the Missouri River. The route will have lots of hills at the northern end, and there are many sweeping curves. The scenic overlook near Macy is gorgeous. There’s also plenty of great towns to stop in along the way.

GRETNA TO ASHLAND
NE-31, NE-66
DISTANCE: 31 miles
TIME: 40 mins
This motorcycle route in Nebraska is this a fun, twisty road that winds down to the Platte River. Take US 6 south out of Gretna. The road turns into Route 31 and continues south to Schramm State Park, after which the route turns east along the river. It's a short run, but there's some excellent scenery by the river. The stretch from Louisville to Ashland will add a few more curves and hills, and will take you past 3 more state parks, the Strategic Air and Space Museum, and the Wildlife Safari Park. Complete a loop ride by getting back to I-80 or HW-6 to make a great motorcycle ride in southeast Nebraska.
OUTLAW TRAIL SCENIC BYWAY

DISTANCE: 231 miles
TIME: 4 hours
Highway 12 is a east/west byway that travels along the northern part of Nebraska. The Outlaw Trail Scenic Byway features rolling hills with great views of rural scenery. Motorcyclists will enjoy some sweeping turns along this great motorcycle ride in Nebraska, along good road pavement quality. West to Valentine, ride alongside sandhills thru the upper northern plains of the state near the Niobrara River Valley.
